As a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies graduate with a Specialization in Math for grades 4-8, I bring a fresh dynamic approach to math education.
With a robust background in student teaching at Chandler Intermediate, Boulter Middle School, and the University Academy of Tyler, I have created engaging and effective learning experiences for my students.
My previous experience in tutoring and preparing students for the STAAR test equips me with the insight and techniques to help students excel in their math studies.

I love spending time with my wife, our two dogs, and my grandkids. I am truly a "country boy," having been raised on a farm and I love the farm and ranch experiences in my spare time.
Through my experience in my educational career, I have learned that each student is an individual, and though they may work as a team, they may learn differently and independently. Therefore, I have developed various techniques to accomplish the most effective and efficient methods for students, whether it be as an individual or as a group. In addition to teaching, I have further learned through my emergency medical experience how important and valuable time and the game of life truly is, whether with students, patients, families, or ordinary "Joe's," and to make each-and-every day matter! Our students and children are our future, and this begins with a solid educational foundation that prepares them for a successful journey! Anyone can be a "teacher," but NOT just anyone can teach!
